If you have gotten as far as reading this then congratulations. Not only have you chosen the lovely Dockside Group for your reception but they have also included one of our DJs in the package for you.
What you get included is absolutely everything that most people need from a DJ package for their reception;
DJ for the entire duration
Wireless microphone (for speeches and other announcements)
PA system suitable for your room.
Of course some clients might want to add some things to the package, common items that get added to packages include;
Having your DJ also act as MC for your reception. This is $350 for an experienced DJ/MC and includes meeting with them prior to the reception to discuss your requirements.
Basic dance floor lighting. This is $100 for the night and the lights flash different colours in time with the music.
Extra hours for music during the ceremony. Please enquire with us about this as sometimes we need extra speakers, etc.
An additional wireless microphone. The 2nd microphone is $75 delivered and set up. If you need more, then we need to add a band mixer as well.
Band mixer. If you need to plug in some performers or need some effects on the microphone we can organise a band mixer for you. This is $100 for the night set up with the PA system. Please note this is not including your instrument leads or of course a sound engineer.
Mood lighting. We can change the colour of your room for you with our par cans and LED bars creating a room wash. The price depends on your requirements so please enquire to find out.
Just before we get stuck into helping you select your music we would also like to mention that as well as awesome DJs, Musiq Entertainment also supply Sydney's best photo booths for hire at weddings and events. We call it photoboothME and all Dockside Group clients receive any of our photo booth hires for 5 hours at the price of 3. You can check out our website by clicking the link below.
